There were many options but this was the easiest one and it did not change the configuration of my hauling setup, required no additional pieces and was easy to install and load. I have used it several times already and it works great. I stopped by a local bike shop and showed it to them and they were not aware and were going to be buying a few and see how they sell. They were carrying the expensive Thule brands.
